The Degree Programme in Cultural Production and Landscape Studies includes studies in Digital Culture, Cultural Heritage Studies, Landscape Studies, Cultural Tourism, Cultural Management and Museum Studies and Material Culture. The Degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts can be taken in the Degree Programme in Cultural Production and Landscape Studies. It is also possible to take up postgraduate studies leading to the Degree of Licentiate of Philosophy or to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The degree programme emphasizes the practical application of knowledge.

Centre for Maritime Studies is
specialized in environmental issues of shipping and ports, in projects promoting shortsea shipping, and in research and development projects related to the Satakunta area that focus on shipping, transport and ports.

Shortsea Promotion Centre (SPC) Finland is the national centre for the promotion of shortsea shipping and intermodal transport. The aim of SPC Finland is to develop shortsea shipping and intermodal transport. Intermodal transport combines at least two transport modes. SPC Finland supports co-operation between different transport modes: shortsea shipping, rail, road and inland waterways. SPC Finland operates in Pori.
