Annmarie Ryan

Dr. Annmarie Ryan
Department of Management & Marketing, Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, Ireland

Dr. Annmarie Ryan is a Lecturer in Business Marketing at the Department of Management & Marketing, Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, Ireland. Her research interests relate to interaction and relationships in business networks, the relations between business and non-profit organizations and more recently in Market Studies and use of ethnography to understanding market interactions and innovation. She is currently in receipt of funding from the Irish Research Council to examine and support sponsorship practices in the context of European Capital of Culture, which Ireland hosts in 2020 (Galway 2020). Her work has been published in Marketing Theory, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Marketing Management, European Journal of International Management, International Journal of Non-Profit and Voluntary Sector Marketing, and the Irish Marketing Review.

Chalisa Veesommai
Global Environmental System Leaders Program, Graduate School of Media and Governance, KEIO University, Japan

Chalisa Veesommai received B.Sc. and M. Eng degree (Chulalongkorn University) in Environmental Science in 2010 and Environmental Engineering in 2012 respectively. Currently she is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Professor Yasushi Kiyoki in Global Environmental System Leader Program (GESL), Graduate School of Media and Governance, KEIO University, Japan. Miss Veesommai current interests involve application of river water-quality analysis and application of utilization of industrial waste as a solid and hazardous waste. The subject of her Ph.D thesis is “Multi-dimensional of water-quality parameters as a function of essential substances for interpreting pollutant in water resource”. She is doing international training as part of her Ph.D. studies in Tampere University of Technology, Pori Department under the supervision of Professor Hannu Jaakkola.

Manuel Ninaus

Dr. Manuel Ninaus
IWM Junior Research Group Neuro-cognitive Plasticity

Manuel Ninaus studied psychology (M.Sc., 2012) at the University of Graz. In 2015 he received his PhD (Dr.rer.nat) with distinction in neuropsychology (thesis: Multimodal Evaluation of Neurofeedback ). He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the IWM Junior Research Group Neuro-cognitive Plasticity . He is employed in the postdoc network: `Cognitive conflicts during media use`. In his research he focuses on using digital games, game elements and gamification to reduce cognitive conflicts and to enhance learning of numerical competencies. For his research he uses behavioural as well as neurophysiological methods (MRI, EEG, NIRS). Manuel Ninaus  He will visit Tampere University of Technology, Pori Department and continue his cooperation with TUT Game Lab within the current Academy of Finland-project.

Ninaus will attend the UCPori's event TiedeAreena 2016 e.g. as a research seminar participant and a Science Slam candidate.

Ahmad Muzaffar bin Baharudin

Ahmad Muzaffar bin Baharudin
Global Environmental System Leaders Program, Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University, Japan.

Ahmad Muzaffar received B. Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2012 and M.Eng in Electronics Engineering in 2014 at Keio University, Japan. He has experience in LSI circuit design of ultra-low power transceiver for Bluetooth LTE Standard and wideband transceiver for WiGig. His Master thesis focused on the development of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) for Indoor Intelligent Sensing System. In 2015, he collaborated with software and mobile computing research group in Tampere University of Technology, Pori Department under the supervision of Professor Hannu Jaakkola. Currently he is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Professor Yan Wanglin in Global Environmental System Leader Program (GESL), Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University. He applies WSN technology, wireless communication and database system in Geo-Informatics System (GIS) for livestock monitoring system. He will continue the collaboration with TUT as a part of system development of the current livestock monitoring project.
